We started to practice this technique in a dry zone area. We lost a mangoes trees forest , lemon trees also slowly dying . The reason is lack of rain and dry climate condition, the intensive rice cultivation also has contribute to lower the water table level . Our last chance is to practice this technique to recover the ecosystem. With the use of the A frame we mark at the land  surface points with  the same level . With the help of land mover we dug swales and build a bump follow the points we have been mark previously.  On the bumps we will plant a dry zone plants trees and bushes. When rain comes  the swales would keep that water  for the land and for the plants at the bumps. Our expectation to recover the ecosystem in 3 years time.
